A few days ago, former police chief Ulrich B.* (62) was caught driving with 2.98 promille in the blood in Germany. Now another case of the Saxon police is coming to light: In April, police chief Angela B.* (54) was caught drunk at a post.
B. wanted to get into the car drunk
As “Bild” reports, the scandal would have come to light in mid-April. Angela B. appeared with her son and his friend at the police station in Dresden-North. Because her son’s friend was beaten, she wanted to press charges.
The agents on the spot determined that Angela B. was drunk. Since no one at the scene knew how she got to the station, they looked at the police director. When she wanted to drive away in her car, she was finally stopped by her colleagues. The police chief had to blow. The result: she had 2.2 per thousand.
B. now works at the University of the Saxon Police in Dresden. The police did not comment on the alcohol incident against “Bild”, citing the protection of privacy. (lia)
