She was embodied by Jeffrey Carlson. He was introduced to the series as a British rock star named Zarf and later appeared as Zoe. The actor passed away at the age of 48. This was confirmed by “Time Out New York” theater critic Adam Feldman. “A strong actor and a painful loss,” he lamented on Twitter. Details of the circumstances leading up to Carlson’s death are not known.

The path to “All My Children” was practically laid in Carlson’s cradle. His mother gave him the name Jeffrey because she was a fan of the Jeff Martin series character. But the California native discovered his passion for acting long before his soap opera debut. He studied drama at the university and then completed his education at the famous “Juilliard Institute” in New York until 2001.

Carlson made his mark in theater, appearing in such productions as Thief River and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet before making his Broadway debut in Edward Albee’s The Goat or Who Is Sylvia (2003). After that he was seen there in many other plays, such as “Tartuffe” or “The Miracle Worker” with Hilary Swank. Carlson also starred in Hollywood productions, including “Hitch – The Date Doctor” alongside Will Smith.
