Teenager Rudolph Farias from the United States has been missing since 2015. Now his neighbors claim he never disappeared.

In 2015, a then 17-year-old teen from Texas disappeared while walking his dogs. The disappearance of Rudolph “Rudy” Farias led to numerous searches – without success. For eight years, the police have puzzled over the boy’s whereabouts – until now.

Farias from Houston suddenly resurfaced last week. Unbelievable: according to the neighbors of the now 25-year-old, the man should never have disappeared. “He lived with his mother all the time,” a neighbor told ABC13.

“The Boy Has Never Been Missing”

Neighbor Kisha Ross was also stunned to learn that Farias had reportedly been missing for eight years. She never knew about that.

“He used to come into my garage to hang out with my cousin, my son, and my daughter,” Ross said. “The boy was never missing.” Sometimes Farias went to the park alone.

She knows him as Dolph – an abbreviation of his first name, Rudolph. Normally he comes to their house often, but they have not seen him for the last few weeks.

His body was covered in cuts

Farias was found by community members. They discovered him lying next to a church. When the police arrived to assist, they realized that this man was the alleged missing boy.

According to witnesses, Faria’s entire body was covered in cuts and bruises. Moreover, he would have had difficulty expressing himself. Rudy’s family confirmed his return on Facebook: “It’s him! It’s our Rudy, he was found and he’s alive and is now in the hospital.”

As the family moves on, he cringes at the slightest touch and thinks he’s a 14-year-old named Julio Torres. The reports do not indicate whether Farias never disappeared or whether his family simply did not know about it. (dzc)
