Islamist Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, has described an alleged attack in Tel Aviv as the “initial response” to a large-scale Israeli military operation in the West Bank.
It was a sign that the “occupation will pay the price for the crimes in Jenin,” a spokesman for the Palestinian organization said Tuesday – without directly blaming the attack.
In the center of the coastal city of Tel Aviv, a car drove into a group of people on Tuesday afternoon. At least five people were injured. According to the Magen David Adom rescue service, a 46-year-old woman is in life-threatening condition.
