There have been 338 mass shootings in the United States this year

The shooting during the party in the city of Baltimore (Maryland, USA) happened this Sunday at dawn 2 dead and 28 injured3 of whom are in critical condition, reported interim local police chief Richard Worley.

The Baltimore police are looking for those responsible for the shooting and asked the public for cooperation.

At the press conference held at the venue, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, a Democrathe regretted what happened and promised that the police would find the culprits.

Speaking directly to those responsible and visibly exasperated, Scott stated: “We won’t stop until we find them and we will find them. Until then, I hope that with every breath you take, you think of the lives you took.”

Scott was elected mayor in 2020 on a promise to reduce gun violence in Baltimore and, in an opinion column in The Washington Post last January, he argued that authorities should do more to address gun violence more comprehensively.
