At least 45 people were killed in a massive collision in Kenya on Friday, according to rescuers. A doctor said other seriously injured people were taken to a nearby hospital.
The accident happened in the Kericho district, about 200 kilometers northwest of the Kenyan capital Nairobi. According to local media, a truck and several cars were involved in the accident. The cause of the accident was initially unknown. Serious road accidents are not uncommon in Africa. A month ago, at least 24 people were killed in Zambia when a bus hit a truck. (SDA)
