Tram knife attack: Man stabbed in Nottingham For not carrying out the coup: Prigozhin was described by convicts as a “cowardly traitor”

Another deadly knife attack has broken out in the English city of Nottingham.

Police UK

As Nottinghamshire Police announced on Monday, a man aged between 30 and 40 was stabbed on the tram in the morning. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he died on the spot, the report said. A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. It was an isolated incident and no other suspects were being sought, detectives said.

The incident was tragic, Nottinghamshire Police Chief Constable Kate Meynell said, according to the announcement. She added: “We know there were other passengers on board at the time and we understand how terrifying that must have been for anyone who saw it.” Police initially said nothing about the background to the crime.

Just two weeks ago, an attacker killed three people in Nottingham with a knife. He then drove a van through the city, injuring three others. In this case, too, there was no indication of a possible motive. The police have not made a connection between the two facts. (saw/sda/dpa)
