A pregnant Ohio woman was shot dead by her two-year-old son last Friday.
The little boy accidentally shot his mother in the back after finding a loaded gun on the bedside table.
The 31-year-old woman called 911 to say she was 33 weeks pregnant and was shot by her son, NBC News reported Wednesday night. Earlier she had already called her husband, who then also called the emergency number:
Three minutes after the initial call, police arrived at the woman’s home. They found her in the bedroom, still conscious.
She was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where a cesarean section was performed. An hour later the unborn son was pronounced dead, three hours later she also died.
The police seized the gun – a SIG Sauer P365. The gun was usually found on the bedside table in the bedroom, the man told police. (Sat)
