Good looks can deceive: Tania Gomez (30) could not only easily work as a model, she also belongs to the drug mafia. This is reported by “Bild”, citing investigators from Europol.
The accusation: The Swede is said to have taken over the drug trade for the heads of organized crime under the guise of the animal rescue organization “HundGarin” she runs. She would also have been involved in money laundering.
During a raid in Stockholm, police officers found several plastic bags full of money. It involves more than a million euros in cash, apparently drug money. Investigators believe that at least 16 criminal organizations laundered their money this way. The action was preceded by a year-long observation of the exchange office.
Arrest warrant for all of Europe
Besides people from the rocker scene, one person in particular kept coming and going: Tania Gomez. She had never been guilty of anything.
Detectives were able to collect a lot of evidence against them. A European arrest warrant has been issued against her.
Gomez went into hiding after the raid and has been on the run since March 2021. She is 160 centimeters tall, has brown eyes and speaks Spanish and Swedish.
Not only Gomez is suspected of involvement in drug trafficking. Her alleged accomplice Dominik Alexander Nirberg (26) is also on Europol’s “Most Wanted” page. (nad)
