Donald Trump went to the famous Cuban restaurant Versailles on Tuesday after his indictment in federal court in Miami. The restaurant is a popular stopping point for politicians looking to score points with Miami’s Cuban voters.
As the “Miami New Times” reports, a large crowd gathered in front of the restaurant to greet Trump. In the restaurant, the former president was celebrated by his supporters. For his birthday, a “Happy Birthday” was sung to him beforehand and a congregational prayer was held. Former MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal, who described Trump as “everyone’s favorite president of all time,” gave him a warm welcome.
t-online had previously reported on Trump’s visit to the restaurant, but one important aspect was not yet known. It’s not the first time Trump has made headlines with dinner invitations. During his tenure in 2019, he hosted Clemson University’s football team at the White House and served menus from well-known fast food chains.
