As the “Miami New Times” reports, a large crowd gathered in front of the restaurant to greet Trump. In the restaurant, the former president was celebrated by his supporters. For his birthday, a “Happy Birthday” was sung to him beforehand and a congregational prayer was held. Former MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal, who described Trump as “everyone’s favorite president of all time,” gave him a warm welcome.

However, the stay at the Versailles only lasted about 10 minutes in total, so no one could place an order. According to the Miami New Times, Trump did not accept a bill for his “local round.”

Trump had visited the restaurant immediately after his trial, where he pleaded “not guilty” to all 37 charges. The former president is accused of 31 violations of the Espionage Act, among other things.

It’s not the first time Trump has made headlines with dinner invitations. During his tenure in 2019, he hosted Clemson University’s football team at the White House and served menus from well-known fast food chains.
