Bad luck Protz in Great Britain: Lambo seized because Brit can not pay tax

This is where the chic ride for the Lambo handlebars in Birmingham ended.

A big catch for the Birmingham police in Great Britain: the officers caught a Lamborghini on Sunday. The value of the orange model Huracan Spyder (640 hp!) is CHF 191,290. The owner’s offense: he had saved the motor vehicle tax, as reported by the “Birmingham Mail”.

Compared to the sports car, that would have been peanuts. Cars with a value of more than 45,000 francs are taxed at 650 francs per year for the first five years. The owner of the luxury car apparently had no money for this.

He wanted to borrow the policeman’s mobile phone

During the check, the Lambo splasher tried to talk himself out of it. He blushed and claimed his friend had paid taxes on the car – a blatant lie he was soon caught in. He then asked the police officer if he could borrow his mobile phone to pay the tax quickly, but soon realized he couldn’t afford it.

And so the Lamborghini was confiscated and loaded onto a truck. To get the car back, the owner must pay a fine in addition to the motor vehicle tax. (jwg)
