The independence leader’s husband was arrested in April as part of the same investigation
Police arrested the former Scotland boss on Sunday Nicola Sturgeonin connection with the funding investigation Scottish National Party (SNP)reported by the British media.
In a press release, the security forces announced the arrest of a 52-year-old woman, who remains in police custody for questioning by investigators. He announced the arrest of the independent leader National Police Scotland on their Twitter.

Sturgeon’s husband, Peter Murrell, was already arrested in April and later released without charge in the same case. He was arrested in connection with an investigation into the fate of €680,000 the party raised in 2017, in a campaign to hold a second referendum on Scottish independence, which was allegedly diverted to other causes.
