At least five people, including four children aged 22 to 36 months, were injured in a knife attack this Thursday on a playground in a French town Annecy, a town of mountain tourism at the foot of the Alps, in the southeast of the country. Minister of Internal Affairs, Gerald Darmanin, who will visit the area together with Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, also expressed regret for the attack, noting that “the individual was arrested thanks to the very quick intervention of law enforcement.”
