Patrick D.* († 56) from the American state of Indiana died tragically in a car accident. And that just one day after his son († 36) passed away. How is unknown. This is reported by the local TV channel WEVV.
Unbelievable: shortly before the death march on May 30, D. posted an emotional message on Facebook. It reveals that D. was walking home from his late son’s house when the fatal accident happened in Knox County.

As shown in the post, that’s where he chose the clothes for his funeral. That was “one of the hardest things” he would have ever done, as he wrote. Shortly after D. posted this message, he died in an accident.
As a result, D. lost control of the wheel, after which the vehicle left the road and eventually crashed into a tree.
Any help came too late for the man. His body later had to be recovered from the car wreck. As the police announced, a skid mark of 90 meters long was measured afterwards.
It is not clear if drugs or alcohol were involved. The police have launched a corresponding investigation. (dzc)
