A year after his surprising resignation as Austrian Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz (36) is back in public. His book “Let’s talk about politics” will be published on Saturday. According to the publishing house “Edition a”, the former political high-flyer speaks in it “for the first time about the light and dark sides of top politics”.
Meetings with Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Xi Jinping are discussed. His restrictive migration policy and his “confrontational course on a reception culture” take up a lot of space. It is also about his rise, the Ibiza affair and his deselection in parliament and his comeback as chancellor. Kurz’s take on the chats that have become publicized and the economics and corruption prosecutor’s investigations against him are also a problem.
The youngest head of government
Sebastian Kurz became Austrian Foreign Minister at age 27 and Chancellor at age 31, making him the youngest head of government in the world. Due to corruption charges, he resigned and left politics on October 9, 2021. It involved fake polls funded by taxpayers’ money and bribery of the media through advertisements.
Kurz then started his own business, since then he advises companies and works for the American tech investor Peter Thiel (55) in the US. With his investment company, he recently joined the healthcare platform Heldyn, which aims to bring people in need of care together with nurses and therapists in just a few clicks.
On Sunday, October 16, Blick published an exclusive, nationwide interview with former political star Kurz about his meetings with Putin and Austria’s pro-Russian stance. (female friend)
