The British king, Charles III, gave up his estates in Wales to start a the process of reducing costs arising from numerous residencesas the paper published today The Telegraph.

Charles III acquired the Llwynywermod estate, in south-west Wales, in 2007 through the Duchy of Cornwall, which he held as heir to the crown for more than 70 years, according to the same source.

Carlos he often used the farmhouse as a base for his visits to Waleswhere he spent part of his studies, but after becoming king he foresees significantly less stay in the place.

With the dukedom of Cornwall passing to his eldest son, William, as heir, the king paid a rent for its use, which will expire this summer.

Sources from the royal house explained The Telegraph that Carlos III is still “passionate” about that British region, but that he is “unlikely” to be able to visit her with the same regularity.

After the coronation ceremony, which took place almost a month ago, the king’s advisory team began to consider what to do with the many properties belonging to Carlos III, such as those at Highgrove, Birkhall, Clarence House, Sandringham and Balmoral, as well as the official residences of Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

One of the alternatives being considered is to extend public access to some of these facilities to contribute to their maintenance costs.
