Yes, the Beatles had it all, right? In the long run, we probably owe almost all musical works after 1970 to the four boys from England. Their music influenced generation after generation. And is still heard today – at least I hope so, because that’s exactly the music today’s quizzticle is about.

Thank goodness their hairstyles are no longer worn these days. At the beginning of the band’s career, there was a stupid mushroom head. A little anecdote: during an appearance on American television, the presenter remarked that the public found the Beatles’ hairstyles very “un-American”. John Lennon: “Well, they were very considerate. We’re not Americans.”

Then the hair of British gentlemen grew longer and more disheveled, and by the early 1970s they looked as if they were sleeping on benches in Hyde Park.
