The government has expanded the expenditures planned for 2023: which areas have benefited the most

By rebalancing the budget, they added expenditures for state work. Where will the resources go?

The government extended it State budget this year in the amount of 52.327 million dollars, which will mostly be earmarked transfers to provinces and municipalities.

The amendment of the budget was formalized by Administrative Decision 122/2023, published this Wednesday in Official bulletin.

Higher public spending in 2023

According to the provisions, an additional 40,000 million dollars will go to provinces and municipalities, while the Ministry of Economy - for "Definition Domestic trade"- another 11.05 billion dollars.

Another user organization was Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ARN)which operates under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, with resources remaining from the financial year 2022 from the Preparatory Commission for the Organization of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (Ctbto) "for the continuation of the activities of the international monitoring system".

Most will be spent on transfers to provinces and municipalities

The government office, for its part, will receive more funds for the acquisition of the terminal connectionrobotic kits, as well as to update the data center of Empresa Argentina de Soluciones Satelitales SA (ar-sat).

Other areas of the state administration included in the budget changes are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for the financing of part of the procurement of scientific equipment and materials for the Argentine Antarctic Institute, the Carlini base and the ARA Almirante Irizar icebreaker) and the Secretariat for Industry and Production Development of the Ministry of Economy, for participation in the Petroleum Promotion Program sector.

Likewise, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Culture, ANSeS and the Malbrán Institute will have more funds, the official text states.
