We are actually used to the fact that there is hardly any free space in many modes of transport at peak times. But lately it seems even more drastic. Where we used to get angry that we had to stand, today we are happy if we get on the train at all.
But despite the exceptional situation, we are actually spoiled if we look at these photos anyway. And maybe it also helps to better tolerate the current situation.
We feel sorry for the train conductor.
It remains to be hoped that the seats in the car are all still free.
This is how you get to know new people. 👍
Think about this GIF the next time you get annoyed that someone is sitting in your otherwise empty 4-seater compartment.
Everything used to be better.
An overcrowded tram during a strike in Lisbon in 1912.
And luckily none of that happens in our train stations.
If you look closely, you will see a train.
What is this job title called?
Even by car it doesn’t seem much more relaxed.
After spending hours in traffic jams, you can finally relax on the beach.
The beach:
Taken on a beach in Rio.
Ufff, then rather into the water. Maybe you can avoid the crowds there.
Are you fed up? Then finally back to the Airbnb.
Recorded in Larung Gar, China.
Okay, then you better have some entertainment. You choose a fringe sporting event because there are certainly not many people there.
Then it just has to be a football match where, depending on the field, you can even see the players.
Oh, then some sightseeing.
Then suddenly there is a demo on the Place de la République in Paris.
Apparently this GIF is supposed to be a swimming pool.
Okay, here we actually see that it’s a swimming pool.
What looks like grass in a field is actually a concert.
Sorry for the bad quality of the GIF, but it’s 18 years old after all.
