The satanic organization “The Satanic Temple” has opened an abortion clinic in the US and named it after the mother of a Supreme Court justice. The organization claims that Samuel Alito’s satanic abortion clinic is not a hoax. However, it is not a conventional clinic, but an online clinic that provides patients with abortion medications after an online consultation with a doctor.

The fact that the Satanic Temple chose Alito’s mother as its namesake is due to the controversial role Alito played in the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down abortion rights. Because it was his argument that the five judges considered conservative followed to abolish the constitutional right to abortion. After this decision, it is up to each of the fifty states whether they allow abortions and, if so, what obstacles they put in place.
The American comedian is enthusiastic about the campaign
“In 1950, Samuel Alito’s mother had no choice and look what happened,” Satanic Temple co-founder Malcolm Jarry says of the name choice. “Before 1973, doctors who performed abortions could lose their license and go to jail. The name of the clinic should remind people how important it is to have the right to control your own body and the consequences that losing this right can have,” Jarry continued.
American comedian John Oliver called the campaign on his show ‘Last Week Tonight’ the ‘best mother joke of all time’.
“The Satanic Temple” consider themselves part of so-called atheistic Satanism and are strongly opposed to any form of occultism and esotericism. For the “Satanic Temple,” Satan is a symbol of individuality, the desire for freedom and rebellion against arbitrary authority. (t-online/jcz)
