Many animals are not as active in winter as they are in summer because they struggle with the cold temperatures and little food. Migratory birds have it easy: they can simply fly into the warmth. For all other animals there are three options: hibernation, hibernation or hibernation.
Hibernation refers to a state in which animals can survive the winter by sleeping at a lower body temperature without having to eat. The hibernation period, on the other hand, is repeatedly interrupted to eat. Animals can survive hibernation by adjusting their body temperature to the outside temperature and – as the name suggests – freezing until it warms up again.
