Great news everyone!
Actually, I didn’t want to leave Argentina until I saw a capybara. Which didn’t happen. Unfortunately. And yet I’m back at the office. That’s how it goes in life.
But now the good things: I saw many other animals and I would like to share them with you. I look forward to seeing your “holiday pets” in the comments, regardless of when that was.
What are you looking at?
Take a nap first.
Also completely relaxed:
There was even a sweet little boy living in one of the accommodations (who always happened to appear at breakfast).
Another hotel bus:
She even disputed my dinner:
It wasn’t the only time this holiday that I had to worry about my food. This cheeky bird wanted to steal my sandwich:
Enough badgers, more wild horses:
Little visitor:
This condor flew just a few meters above our heads:
Very cute: Magellanic penguins.
Less sweet: her teeth.
(PS: He’s just yawning, he wasn’t mean to me. I promise!)
Magellanic penguins stay with the same partner their entire lives. They meet every year in the same nest to raise new young. 😍
Do you want more penguins? This Pingu is the star of a Photoshop battle:
Because we all know this Pingu short series can’t be complete without her toddling:
The coolest bird in the whole country:
Mama whale and her baby (seen here) say it Hello:
Show off…
Guanacos should not be missed during a trip to Argentina:
Neither do toucans:
Unfortunately, this photo doesn’t do justice to his incredibly beautiful blue eyes.
Surprising visit from a coati:
If you look very closely, you will see pink dots at the edge of the water…
…those would be flamingos. My phone’s 30x zoom did everything:
But we saw not only large birds, but also small ones. Here’s a hummingbird:
Okay, enough birds for today.
Beautiful horses again:
Curious Guanaco:

Finally, there is a photo of a Capy (which unfortunately is not from my personal photo gallery).
