As industry magazine ‘Simple Flying’ writes, this should not only relieve noise-sensitive passengers, but also parents who want to avoid arguments with other passengers with a screaming or whining child.
From November, the adult zone will be used on the route between Amsterdam and Curaçao. On the nine-hour flight to the Caribbean, the first twelve rows of seats of the Airbus A350 remain child-free. If the test phase proves itself, the tickets – available from the age of 16 and at an additional cost of CHF 43 – will be definitively included in the programme.
