Steve Jobs probably wouldn’t have liked that: the daughter of the late Apple founder Eve Jobs mocks the new iPhone in an Instagram post. Shortly after the iPhone 14 announcement, she posted a photo of a man wearing the same striped shirt he’s wearing. Jobs writes, “I’m upgrading from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14 after Apple’s announcement today.”

The youngest of Steve Jobs’ three daughters, alludes to the fact that the appearance of the new iPhone has not changed from the previous model. It has the same angular design that Apple gave the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12.

Eve Jobs also knows, of course, that Apple doesn’t redesign its devices every year. Therefore, the joke at the expense of the company her father founded should not be taken seriously.

A lot has happened in the new iPhones

While not much has changed on the outside, there are plenty of innovations on the inside of the new iPhone. As Apple announced in its announcement yesterday, the mobile phone will receive a satellite distress call for areas with no signal and crash detection that will automatically alert emergency services in the event of a traffic accident.

The iPhone 14 also has an improved selfie camera with autofocus and an improved rear camera. The latter has a larger aperture (f/1.5) and is intended to capture more light with larger pixels. This would halve the low-light exposure time compared to the iPhone 13.

Apple has also revised the iPhone 14 internally – as a result, the glass back is no longer inextricably linked to the device. This should also make repairs much easier and cheaper for independent workshops.
