On the road, we always doubt the intelligence of other road users. Because let’s be honest: We all believe that only we know how to drive properly and well.
The British comparison portal Scrap Car Comparison examined the intelligence of the car owner, whether to look only at the car brand or the car colour. To do this, the portal took 2000 British drivers to an intelligence test and asked them about their car, its colour, driving and license plate.
The smart one drives Skoda
It is bittersweet for the British that only the British brand Land Rover is in last place. According to the study, the average IQ of all Land Rover drivers was 88.58. Fiat was second to last with 90.14, followed by BMW with 91.68. At the top is Skoda. Drivers of the Czech brand have an average IQ of 99. They are followed by Suzuki (98.09) and Peugeot (97.79).

The results show a realistic picture of the population. Two-thirds of all people have an IQ between 85 and 115. According to this, all drivers of the 22 brands evaluated have normal intelligence. Only about 2.5 percent of people have an IQ below 70 or above 130 – by the way, from 144 onwards you’re considered a genius.
Stromer drivers are losers
According to research, a petrol engine is said to be smarter when it comes to driving. It is followed by hybrid, diesel, and only fourth and last place is electric drive. Stromer drivers have an average IQ of 90.19.
Color should also inform about intelligence. White, gray and red occupy the podium. It is followed by blue, black, silver and green. Green, in particular, lags behind with an average IQ of 88.43. The only value next to the Land Rover is under 90. But it must also be a relatively small number of green cars. The most popular colors are white, black and gray.
In the UK the plate can be personalized – for good money, of course. According to research, general license plate holders are a little smarter. Those with personalized plates have an IQ of 91.95, while their average IQ is 94.15.
Solution
The freshman will come to the next class meeting in a white Skoda, while the class loser will come in a green Land Rover? Not likely. Research should not be taken too seriously. The comparison portal tried to determine which car brands the psychopaths drove. It gives us the impression that one has too much time and imagination to start bullshit research.
