On TikTok there seems to be a new trend every week that goes viral. This week it’s the Soulmate Moonphase trend. Only use your partner’s date of birth to find out if you are meant for each other. But if you’re hoping to find the love of your life with it, be warned: it’s not too serious.
It works like this: users indicate what phase the moon was in when they and their partner were born. With an app, the two phases of the moon are superimposed. When your own moon and your partner’s moon make a full moon, it would mean that you are soul mates.
No scientific evidence
It’s not clear where the TikTokers get the information that a matching moon makes them particularly compatible. There is no scientific evidence for this. It can be assumed that someone invented the whole thing – something that can be found in abundance on TikTok.
Still, I wanted to know who I would be compatible with. So here:
Sabeth and office dog Paco
Unfortunately, Paco and I are not going to be serious. But he’s still my office crush:
Sabeth and the expired yogurt in the fridge
My yogurt brings all the boys to the yard.
Sabeth and Watson
Very close. Should I stop now, boss?
