Swiss Moto in Zurich was once, long live the Motofestival in Bern! After a (Corona) hiatus and the end of Swiss Moto, there is finally a new product fair for motorcycle friends in our country. However, this motorcycle fair is no longer in Zurich, but is held in Bern from February 23 to 26 under the name Motofestival.

However, the concept of the trade fair hasn’t changed much: around 130 brands will showcase their new products on the 25,000 square meter exhibition space in Bern. Moto Guzzi going crazy

The Yamaha MT-07 and Kawasaki Z650, which have so far dominated the mid-range, compete: the undisguised Suzuki GSX-8S with 83 hp and the even more powerful Honda CB 750 Hornet with 92 hp. now competing. Of interest to sports fans: the 100 hp Aprilia RS 660 Extrema, which, as the name suggests, is constantly fine-tuned for sports and weighs just 169 kilograms with a full tank. With 210 hp, the bare BMW M1000R offers significantly more power. However, if you want to carry this device safely, you need a lot of experience and some common sense.

Equipped with a 115 hp liquid-cooled V2 engine for the first time, the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello appeals to a wider audience than previous Guzzis thanks to its versatility and modern handling. And Triumph has extensively overhauled its mid-range all-round Street Triples. In addition to the 120 hp three-cylinder base model 765 R, there is also the more elegant 765 RS and special edition 765 moto2 with 130 hp each.

Harley celebrates her birthday

Legendary US manufacturer Harley-Davidson celebrates its 120th birthday in Bern with great performance: the Americans have had seven years, including the Harley Road Glide Special Anniversary with a displacement of 1868 ccm and a giant 95 hp V2 engine. The small electric scooter Honda EM1 e, with its e-bike-like battery charging technology, is something completely different and especially interesting for city dwellers.
