Five years ago, former motor athlete Wani Finkbohner (55) organized the first championship of the Swiss Simracing Series (SSRS) with the Racing Fuel Academy in Horgen ZH. “We wanted to allow the best Swiss racing players to compete against each other not only virtually but live in the same simulators.” Porsche has been committed as a partner from the beginning and that is why the fifth season of the Porsche Esport Carrera Cup Suisse is taking place this year.

Like last year, the grand championship final will take place as part of Auto Zurich (click here to see highlights). 70 players in three categories: over 45, female and professional will compete for the virtual motorsport crown in twelve identical simulators on Saturday afternoon, November 4. The final, which will be held through the “Assetto Corsa” race simulation, will take place on the digital F1 race track in Monza.
