Attention hiking and nature lovers: a newly launched smartphone app helps you discover the attractions in the regional nature parks, the Swiss National Park and nature adventure parks in Switzerland.
As announced by the Swiss Parks Network on Wednesday, the app, which is available for Android phones and the iPhone, offers the best routes, excursion ideas and addresses for food and accommodation. The offer is aimed at cyclists and walkers.
Both cultural monuments and natural sites are listed as monuments. The excursion tips cover all seasons. The desired activity or park can be filtered based on the information. Routes can also be recorded and saved.
All offers in the app are located near a public transport stop. The Swiss parks are committed to sustainable tourism. The app can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store in German, French, Italian and English (see below).
