Twint will soon allow you to “pay later”

Users of the Twint payment app will soon have access to a new feature: in partnership with Swissbilling, a company belonging to the Cembra Group, Twint will gradually introduce the new “Pay later” feature, a statement said on Friday.

This new feature allows TWINT users to choose whether to pay immediately or within 30 days, depending on information from certain retailers. As announced in September last year, Twint is partnering with Swissbilling, a company specializing in invoice purchasing solutions, to implement this feature.

In practice, when shopping in an online store with Twint as a payment method, customers can choose via a button at checkout whether they want to pay immediately or within 30 days, if the retailer offers this. This offers more flexibility and the advantage that customers can check the goods before paying. (sda/awp)
