Pantheon Basel, Muttenz BL: A world of experience for old fans
The idea behind the Pantheon in Muttenz was actually a parking lot for vintage cars. Basel classic car enthusiast Stephan Musfeld (69) was looking for a place for himself and his friends to safely store their precious car. He expanded his idea after finding a building in 2006: A vintage car market was created on the ground floor. There are also workshop boxes where you can work on your own vintage car under expert supervision.
A restaurant with a view of the workshop and a museum with permanent and temporary exhibitions make the subject of the classic car open to the public. The Basel Pantheon is a success. It has been running like clockwork since it opened 15 years ago. “About 170 vehicles are permanently parked at the site. Our parking spaces are fully utilized. The restaurant is also full almost every evening,” says Stephan Musfeld happily. Schmohl Exclusive Classic Cars, Kemptthal ZH: Very British
The environment is sleeping. The former site of the Maggi factory in Kemptthal, The Valley offers ancient walls with a modern zeitgeist. Cool start-ups use historical location for creative business ideas. There are around 20 valuable cars that are bought and sold, repaired, restored and maintained.
