Contract extended early: Servette binds Richard for a long time

Tanner Richard has signed a new contract.

Geneva-Servette has prematurely extended the contract with Swiss national coach Tanner Richard by four years. His contract with the Swiss champions runs until the end of the 2027/28 season.

Last championship season, the 30-year-old center and faceoff specialist was the top scorer in the Geneva playoffs with 3 goals and 11 assists. He then took part in a World Cup with Switzerland for the second time and was the best player of the entire tournament in the statistics of face-offs won with a percentage of 68.89 percent.

Richard joined Servette for the 2017/18 season after several years in North America. In 288 appearances for the Grenats, he scored 45 goals and had 157 assists. (SDA)
