Yves Allegro was sentenced by federal court to a 20-month suspended prison sentence.

In 2014, Swiss Yves Allegro (44) allegedly sexually assaulted a woman from the Austrian delegation during a meeting with other European coaches. After being found guilty in first and second instance in 2019, he went to the Federal Supreme Court.

According to “Le Nouvelliste”, he has now been sentenced to a 20-month suspended sentence for assault. The suspect stated during the trial that he could not remember anything.

Yves Allegro was a tennis player himself and celebrated his greatest successes in doubles. In 2003 he won the ATP tournament in Vienna with the then 22-year-old Roger Federer and a year later he and the maestro took part in the Olympic Games in Athens.
