Borussia Dortmund could achieve what it has been striving for for years: to break Bayern’s dominance in the Bundesliga. It would be a season without a title for Munich, the first in eleven years.
And who is to blame for the mega crisis? CEO Oliver Kahn (53)? Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic (46)? Trainer Thomas Tuchel (49)? Probably the most likely answer: the collective. Because each of the trio contributes to the mess.
No family feeling under Kahn
As CEO, Kahn is responsible for promoting the development of FC Bayern as a club and for the well-being of the employees. But the ex-Bayern goalkeeper seems unable to do that.
