If successful, a player awaits in the second round who only advances to the main draw thanks to a wild card. The first seeded opponent Bencic, number 12, could face would be Magda Linette (WTA 21) from Poland in the 3rd round and Maria Sakkari (WTA 8) from Greece in the round of 16.
