The Florida Panthers continue to rise in the NHL playoffs. They win Game 2 against Carolina 2-1.
Just like in the first game, it goes overtime. And again, Matthew Tkachuk is the game winner for the Panthers. This time, however, the 25-year-old striker took less time than Friday night, when he scored the winning goal in the 80th minute of extra time. In the second game, Tkachuk needed less than two minutes of extra time to give his team the win.
After 60 minutes it was 1-1. Carolina took the lead just after kick-off through Jalen Chatfield, Florida’s Aleksander Barkov equalized midway through the second period.
