The husband of Polish cross-country legend Justyna Kowalczyk (40) died in an avalanche accident in the Bernese Oberland on Wednesday. Kacper Tekieli was climbing the Jungfrau when he was caught in the avalanche. The rescuers were alerted the same day, but were unable to rescue him until Thursday due to the bad weather. Tekieli was only 38 years old.
