Steven Zuber celebrates his first title with AEK Athens. On the last day of the Greek championship, the yellow-black team wins the race. AEK defeated NFC Volos 4–0 to end the season ahead of city rivals Panathinaikos and series champions Olympiacos. The Swiss Zuber played a major role in the victory.

The 31-year-old paved the way for Athens’ first league title in five years in the 16th minute of the game. The striker starts a counterattack in his own half and eventually finishes it himself. His goal literally shakes the home stadium.

After half an hour, Zuber prepares Athens’ second goal. It is the 13th league title in AEK’s club history. Zuber moved from Eintracht Frankfurt to Greece last summer. In 33 games he scored eight goals, five of which came in the last round, and provided four more assists. (mab)
