Mathias Flückiger takes second place ahead of Nino Schurter at the home race in Chur.

Olympic champion Thomas Pidcock wins the Bike Revolution event in Chur. Just like at the 2021 Games in Tokyo, the Briton triumphed over Mathias Flückiger. The Oberaargauer loses nine seconds.

Nino Schurter, on the other hand, could not take part in the battle for victory. The co-organizer of the Bike Revolution race series, which should be anchored as a second force in the cross-country scene after the World Cup events, lost 46 seconds in third place.

Also in the women’s race, a driver from Great Britain moved two Swiss women to places 2 and 3. Evie Richards, the 2021 world champion, was 48 seconds clear of Alessandra Keller, who in turn beat Sina Frei in the sprint. (SDA/mbi)
