I wasn’t bad, but definitely very minimalistic. This has continued from first grade through apprenticeship. I didn’t always take homework very seriously. Except in math. And how are you doing now as a teacher? Still minimalist? Or even a bad guy?

Do you have a different status with the students because you are a wrestler?
Not at all. I am even positively surprised how little this subject is discussed in my class and in the school as a whole. I think it is important to separate my private life and my day-to-day work.

Yes, during a sports week I offered to teach primary school children how to swing. And I’m sure I made the parents very happy too when their kids came home full of sawdust (laughs)!

My last season was pretty mixed. That’s why I don’t want to stack too high. I had extremely high expectations of myself last year and that slowed me down at times. Now this pressure is no longer present. That’s why – a wreath on the Zuger would be great, anything else is a bonus.
