Toulouse wins the French Cup – for the second time after 1957. And in the middle is a Swiss. Vincent Sierro joined the promoted Ligue 1 team from YB last January. In the 5-1 thrashing of the final against Nantes, the 27-year-old midfielder fell into the field in the 69th minute.

At the moment, the match in the Stade de France has long been decided. Toulouse centre-back Logan Costa scores twice in the first ten minutes. At halftime – after striker Thijs Dallinga also scored twice – Ligue 1 led 4-0 in twelfth place against the defending champion, who was in danger of relegation.

Record winner Paris Saint-Germain (14 cup titles) failed in the eighth finals at Olympique Marseille. (yup)
