“Now you are bound to me for life,” writes the two-time Olympic silver medalist in 2018 (giant slalom and downhill) in a photo series with her lover. The list of benefactors is prominent: Wendy Holdener, Mikaela Shiffrin, Michelle Gisin, Corinne Suter and many more.
The 30-year-old regained her old strength in the past season. Between 2019 and 2021, Mowinckel occasionally struggled with injuries. Last season she won the Cortina Super-G and achieved three other podiums.
