The “Swiss-Ski Night” will take place for the first time on May 12, 2023 in Zurich. Eleven prizes will be awarded in six categories during the event. Not only sports with the athletes are central, the people in the background are also honored. Fans can vote for their favorite at the Fan Award until May 10th. You can choose from cross-country skier Anja Weber (21), freeskier Mathilde Gremaud (23) and alpine skier Marco Odermatt (25).
The latter laid a dream season in the snow last winter. Odermatt has won the Big Crystal Globe, surpassing the record for most points (2042) in a single season. There were also the small balls in giant slalom and super-G. At the Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel/Méribel (FRA), Odermatt also won gold in giant slalom and downhill.
In the 2022/23 season, Mathilde Gremaud won gold on slopestyle at the Freestyle World Championships in Bakuriani (GEO) in February. Anja Weber finished 5th in the freestyle team sprint at the Nordic World Championships in Planica (SLO) – together with Nadine Fähndrich. (nsa)
