SC Bern has found what they were looking for in their search for a successor to Chris DiDomenico (34). As announced by Blick, he signed Martin Frk (29). The Czech attacker has signed a two-year contract until the spring of 2025.
In 2012, Frk was drafted in the second round by the Detroit Red Wings, but never made the NHL. He only had 124 games (20 goals, 24 assists) with the Detroit, Carolina Hurricanes and Los Angeles Kings.
Last 30 goals in 62 games
He has spent most of the time filling the nets in the AHL in recent years. This season, Frk scored 30 goals and had 64 points in 62 games for the St. Louis Blues farm team, the Springfield Thunderbirds. In 2021/22, Ontario Reign even scored 40 goals and 73 points.
