She feels that skiing is still her world,” Slovenian ski boss Janez Slivnik said at a press conference this week. Hrovat’s return to the ski circus is official – after rumors of his retirement had already circulated.
Timing due to doping control system
The timing of this announcement is deliberate: six months before the first race, the riders must be entered into the doping control system. This means that the two-time third place in the Lenzerheide giant slalom (2018 and 2021) can start again in Sölden in October – exactly one year after the alleged end of her career.
