Eight years after the very successful event in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland is hosting another U18 World Cup in Basel and Porrentruy. One can only hope it ends with euphoria and full stadiums like when Switzerland finished fourth.
In his first two U18 World Championships, coach Marcel Jenni (49), who will be promoted to U20 next season, led the team to the quarter-finals, where they eventually defeated Finland (0:2) and the Czech Republic (0:8). Four “minors” born in 2006
