The Milwaukee Bucks, the best team with 58 wins in the regular season, did not reach the playoff round of 16. The 1971 and 2021 NBA champion loses the home game against the Miami Heat with 117:130.

Perhaps even worse than the defeat is the fact that Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo could miss some matches. The multiple NBA All-Star and two-time MVP falls backwards after a jump and injures his back. He returns to the floor again, but then enters the locker room early.

Miami was initially defeated by the Atlanta Hawks with Swiss Clint Capela in the play-in tournament, but then was the last team to qualify for the Eastern Conference playoffs. Jimmy Butler is the big man of the game against Milwaukee for the Florida team with 35 points.

Lakers beat Grizzlies

The LA Lakers, seeded No. 7 in the west, also managed an upset with 128:112 against the Memphis Grizzlies. LeBron James scored 21 points. Star playmaker Ja Morant is also threatened with the Grizzlies due to a hand injury.

In the other best-of-seven series, the LA Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns 115:110 at the start. And the Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-80. (SDA/cmu)
