Celta’s two athletic teams started with overwhelming victories in two club league games in the First League. The women did it in the headquarters of Vigo with 197 points, and the men won in Gijón with 190. Both have four points for the second day.
Celtic Women registered six victories (Ainhoa Reparaz twice, Alice Finot, Ester Navarrete, Lola Bouza, Raquel Villa and the 4×100 relay), defeating Gimnástica, Oviedo and Valladolid.
The men registered three victories (Miguel González, Pedro Santos and the 4×100 relay) and did not give an option to the University of Oviedo, Super Amara and Durango.
