The Atlanta Hawks, with Clint Capela (left), clearly lose their first playoff game.

The Atlanta Hawks had absolutely no chance with Clint Capela in the first round of 16 against the Boston Celtics, second in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks trailed 44:74 at halftime. Atlanta closed the gap to 84:96 with nine minutes left, but the Celtics wouldn’t turn back. The final score was 99:112

Clint Capela played 27 minutes and scored twelve runs from eight pitches. The second game of the best-of-7 series will again take place in Boston. In the remaining three games, only the Philadelphia 76ers were able to clearly assert themselves (101:121 against the Brooklyn Nets). The New York Knicks shuffled their way to a 101-97 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, switching the lead multiple times in the last two minutes. In the California game between the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors, the Warriors lost an extremely exciting game, especially in the last quarter, with a score of 123:126. (SDA/nsa)
