Former Bundesliga coach Felix Magath thinks Union Berlin is capable of a really big hit. “If a club is at the top after 26 games, then it is at the very top. Then it is no longer a coincidence. That is why the Unioners can of course cause a sensation and become German champions,” said Magath in an interview with “Sport Bild”.
The third-placed Berliners are currently four points behind leader Bayern Munich (55). “It would be a pleasure for all of football Germany – maybe with the exception of Bayern – if something surprising happens again,” said Magath, who sees the Union “on the right track”.
